Kristina Irion takes part in OECD expert consultation on “Protection of Children in a Connected World”

IViR’s Kristina Irion contributes to an OECD expert consultation on “Protection of Children in a Connected World” at the University of Zurich. The event assembles an international group of researchers, policy makers and NGOs working on child development in relation to 21 century technologies. The OECD expert consultations feeds into the ongoing  review of the 2012 OECD Recommendation for the Protection of Children Online. As a consultant to the OECD, Kristina Irion drafted the 2011 background report on the Protection of Children Online on which the OECD Council Recommendation was based. Kristina’s panel examines whether or not laws and policies have kept pace with advances in technology and the emerging new connected risks.
